Twenty years of engineering leadership, a calendar full of community work, and a kitchen that's rarely cool. Pick a door — each opens into a different room of the same home. A tech leader and passionate community advocate, I have called Nashua, NH home since 1999 (resident of NH since 1997). I hold an M.S. in Computer Science from Boston University and currently serve as Director of Mobile Engineering at Upland Software. Beyond tech, my focus centers on civic impact and grassroots service. I serve on the Nashua Public Library Board of Trustees and the United Way of Greater Nashua Advisory Committee, and I’m a proud graduate of Leadership Greater Nashua (Class of 2022). Whether leading the New England Maskateers to sew 5,000+ pandemic relief masks, organizing monthly soup kitchen meal drives, co-hosting citywide cultural festivals, or baking traditional sweets with the local NH American Indian community for the CROP Hunger Walk, I believe in bringing people together to solve real-world needs. I live in Nashua with my husband, Jag, and am the proud mother of Nikhil.
I met Nani in 2018 at my mother's apartment in India. He was a quiet teenager helping his family get by. In the years since, I have watched him protect his mother, raise his younger brother, and work his way from shop helper to shop owner — all while finally passing the 10th exam he once had to leave behind.
Read the full story →When the pandemic closed everything, seventy volunteers and I stitched and delivered more than 5,000 masks to Southern NH Hospital, adult care centers, and the Army Reserve. We had no pattern and no plan — just a lot of fabric and a phone tree.
